Monsoon in Goa is quite known. I planned my Goa visit in the off season of monsoon because I am a nature lover. Beaches are closed during monsoon because of the high water levels. I read about the water activities at Divar island and they remain open during monsoon season as well.
I booked the package instantly at Rs1999. There are two time slopts-morning at 10:30 am and afternoon at 2:30pm. I chose the morning one and from the panjim jetty reached the island.
The route is just beautiful. On reaching you get to see so many options to go for. Kayaking, jet ski ride, bumper boat ride, banana ride, crab catching, leisure boat ride and bird watching, all this in just Rs1999. I enjoyed the kayaking because I have done it before, you feel so nice so close to nature. Crab catching was quite interesting. After the activities, enjoyed a full platter of Goan cuisine and chilled drinks.
Returned to the Panjim jetty by 1:30 pm. If you are traveling to Goa during monsoon season, visit Divar island, you will love the birds and the greenery. i would give my trip a 4 star.
Our family group consists of 20 persons and we all were planning a get together out of Bangalore. Most of our children were very keen to plan this outing in Goa so even we also wish to spend our time together at some interesting place.
Goa is an ideal choice. We made our arrangements well in advance through a tour operator in Goa from whom we got a very a very good package. We all were having good time there but we wished to do something very interesting like water activities. We then again asked our tour operator which place then can suggest keeping in mind we don’t want to be in crowed place.
Knowing our requirement, we got a suggestion to plan a Divar island. It’s a private island famous for 5 water activities. On the island, we got very delicious food too. We had great time in Divar island and definitely recommend to everyone who wish to visit this beautiful island.
